@@ritred3227 Thanks, these two are experienced. Donk (blue shirt) was ranked #1 in the US
He did good and with the bloody nice
@@danielfernandezjr1115 Ian was not the one with the bloody nose

Please make a jab tutorial. I don’t care much for other punches. Well, not as much.
The day they called his right hand "Dempsey" :-D
Could you please post a video of how to throw a proper left hook using the old school stance?
@@miguelyarturo For sure.
There's an example if you look up Luis' old tile exercise video.
Glad to hear Paul is still around and training kids. I know he had his demons, hopefully he's keeping them at bay.
@@hotwaff Kinda...
@@OBCWarDogs well damn. Here's hoping he can make things better for himself.
Good work, Sal.
The winner has all the moves of a champion.
@@Grasshoppa65 Yeah that was our opponent.
henry hank vs chris byrd :-D
Fuck yeah
What happened to Johnny (loco)? He is not seen in your footage for a long time
Same as everyone else eventually does.
hector cama-cho-frazier
The big man has very good movements. Good stuff.
The carnal looks like the jab catch drill is in his dna also he only moves subtly and efficently out of range and seems to have good proprioception - beautiful
He's been with us since he was 11 and I was his first Coach. So it's definitely ingrained.
Good stuff coach. Those boys are within range the second they leave their corners 😆
Love that triple jab.
What are the benefits of that acorn bag compared to regular bags? I’ve never tried one.
Bags with those shapes make it easier to perform uppercuts.
@@OBCWarDogsI see. Why do they look and sound like they’re made of wood though? Do you ever hurt your hands on them?
@@berserker8853 Nah, they're made of imitation leather.
Happy belated birthday
Good stuff - you give the student elaborated information to understand it and answer follow up questions. Unfortuantely a lot of trainers "teaching method" is do this because I said so. ps: more heels :-D
I checked Boxrec with his name and it showed. 3-8 and inactive -> honestly I was surprised. (or are the stats misleading because he had too tough opposition?) How come an elite amateur does not perform as good in pros? Which qualities did he lacked "to make it"? Is he done with boxing?
very nice
Amazing. They don´t look like amateurs but more like pros. High level of heart and skill here.
What is your opinion on stepping with both legs simultaneously pushing from the back foot on the jab instead moving front foot then back foot? Qawi and Tyson used that move to close distance
Good point!
"The individual is of first importance, not the system. Remember that man created method, and not that method created man." - Bruce Lee |
Who cares.....
Thanks for watching!
But what if I want to fight like Floyd can you teach that😊
I could, but that system doesn't work well for everyone.
Too rough,you wont learn
Felicidades Ian
Let’s go Ian we don’t do burpees for nothing 🦍🦾🏁
Let’s go champ Sal handled business 🦾🦍
Great job, Sal.
Beautiful.
I'm 50 and I wouldn't want to fight either one of them boys 😅😅😅😅😅
Honest question here: I live in Las Vegas and have always been interested in learning boxing. Very interested in taking beginner classes and instruction in the basics etc. My Mother's uncle was a boxer. Any advice where I could start? So many gyms etc... any advice would be great. I would plan on coming in there totally humble and ready to learn! Thanks in advance if you see this and reply! Cheers! P.S. I watched the vid again so I'll check out Real boxing gym! Cheers!
Yes feel free to stop by the gym. 6145 W Sahara, 3 doors behind the Nevada Chicken Cafe. I'm there 4pm to close on Tuesdays-Fridays. And 11am-2pm on Saturdays nornally
Always amazed by the "trademark" of your fighters to keep good posture ( specially the aspect: weight down). Ultimately the "sitting" in the posture or hip fold is carried/facilitated by the ankles to which the weight sinks into - am I right? (Hip carries upper body and hips are carried by knees and ankle - ultimately the ground does the work Holding the structure)
He needs some work, maybe just more aggression in the ring and some endurance training. Otherwise he looks sharp and has potential
I’m sorry but no he wasn’t
This brings back a log of good memories.
It looks like they are afraid of getting hit. Keep practicing. And keep up the good work coach.
Yes they're novices. Thanks.
Jamayne doesn’t appear to be left handed.
He writes with his left hand.
So wait like no sparring in your gym at all
Right on coach!
0:38 thats external hip rotation right?
Not rotation because the knee isnt going away from the body. It is staying pointed forward. This would be adductor/abductor strengthening
@@OBCWarDogs ah I see thanks for the clarification
Nice speed and nice CONTROL.
That's like asking to spar with a black belt in a kung fu dojo. Gotta earn it. Besides, most ppl that's been in a fighting art for 5 months can beat those new ppl up that just come in to spar. I'll watch ppl spar in new gyms, not gonna try and jump in.
Good stuff
What's your take on stepping with both feet at the same time for a jab? ( Instead stepping one after the other)- kinda springing. Qawi, Tyson, Louis used this move to close distance. Are you against it and why? ( I never seen one of your fighters do it)
